I like how the push lever eliminates the need for the webbing finger loop w/ red retainer clasp. Not only is it simpler w/ fewer parts (to wear of break), in use it eliminates the extra step of locking the red retaining clasp into place (which is sometimes forgotten, to the peril of the wearer).

Great materials & construction quality. I especially like that the open/close buckle and the other end of the spreader bar are now both insert molded. The durable & larger diameter plastic sheathing around the buckle & bar metal should reduce cinch strap wear. I also like the very cushy padding on the backside of the bar pad....much more padding that past bar pads. The hourglass shape & thick padding makes the whole setup round rather than flat, permitting the bar to roll easier without digging into your body.

Two minor issues: 1) In addition to a chicken-loop donkey stick, I also use a "lock tube" velcro'ed around my spreader bar. I lock both tubes in place to absolutely eliminate the possibility of unwanted chickenloop escape from the harness hook. The bar pad Velcro straps that capture the spreader bar make it difficult to deal with a lock tube. Perhaps the dimensio
