Seeker 18L Bike Hydration Backpack,
Seeker 18L Bike Hydration Backpack exactly what I ordered. Arrived super fast. Great price and I'm sure it will be a super hit for Christmas.
Close to perfect
First off, this pack has the most breathable harness system I've used yet. The main bag of the pack stays suspended off your body and air can flow between your pack and body freely. No more drenched sweat back. I'm tempted to say I wish it had a bit more length(top to bottom) for taller folks, but it's pretty comfortable for me and even with the hip strap fastened it's comfortable when pedaling in the saddle, I usually cant say that about backpacks. It's an interesting design, almost like a waist pack with shoulder straps, but you get a low profile backpack compartment too. Capacity is a bit less than I anticipated but it has straps on the bottom to store a shell and a stowable gear/helmet harness, which adds greatly to its utility. The materials and build quality are nice and it has waterproof zippers. The organization sleeve on the back is decent, though I would have preferred a secure fastener at the top of it, the Velcro can get pushed apart if you load this thing, the vertical zips keep the sleeve closed, but it can pucker open up top. Also would have liked a secure phone/wallet sleeve, thought the sunglass pouch works for that as well. All in all, it's a pretty good all around MTB pack
Almost perfect
This pack is really fabulous. I have zero “do not buy this” complaints. My favorite feature is that it’s basically a waist pack with more capacity. The frame has tight tolerances whether it will fit you or not. In a 2-week bikepacking trip it was mostly great but sometimes when I encountered hike-a-bike it impacted my sciatic region and caused some irritation. When I’m biking it feels like millimeters separate me from comfort or discomfort. I definitely advise trying the pack on. Also, the front pocket with the two vertical zippers is great. But if you pack the main pack out to the max capacity, the little Velcro connection at the top is pretty angry. It probably won’t seal correctly which means that whole pocket is gonna catch mud from the back tire. The only other issue I had was just personal preference. I REALLY wanted some mesh side pockets to hold a normal water bottle or other weird shaped stuff I encountered on a bikepacking trip.
Great backpack for biking!
The seeker 18L is a great backpack! It's super comfortable to wear and doesn't get too hot against your back when riding. It has lots of storage and can fit more than you would expect. I really like the helmet carry stow away option and the bottom straps for pads or whatever else. My only dislike about it is the set divider for the hydration bladder, it would be better if it could be fully tucked away and not get in the way. All in all though a really great pack, it's secure, large and comfortable.
Great quality but question the frame
Full disclosure, I am using this for short day hikes and cannot ride mountain bike for a while due to health issues. I love the bag in terms of features and the quality seems top notch. I repositioned the straps in every which way but could not prevent the bottom of the frame from stabbing me in the back. I am not a stick man but am also not huge so I am not sure except for the fact that this is made for biking. I am excited to try it for that when I am able. I give it a 3.5/5 for comfort when using for just hiking around for 1-2 hours and this may be unfair since it is not its intended purpose.
Great winter pack
Excellent pack, good ventilation, and the hip straps actually fit and function properly. So if you’re a hip pack person who needs more storage for winter rides, this is the pack.
Great upgrade
awesome backpack with good air flow for you back on a hot summer day.
Bombproof quality
I’ve owned this bag for almost 4 years and wear it on almost all of rides. I lived in NW Washington for most of that time and rode year round so this thing got absolutely covered in mud and the wet and nothing ever even got damp On the inside. On top of that I’ve put it through more heinous crashes than I care to remember and I still don’t see myself needing a new one any time soon, it’s absolutely bombproof. That being said if it does ever give out I am 100% buying this bag again the next day, it’s great. Only thing Ill add is that if you have sharp biters like me then buy an extra spout for the hydropack cause I’ve bitten through mine twice, they’re like $5 though. Happy trails!
Awesome backpack
Waterproof zips and fabric. Comes with 3l bladder which sits at the bottom of the pack keeping the weight low on my back. Totally recommendable.
