Very satisfied
This is my second hot laps gripper and I have always enjoyed how rugged and useful it is.
All you need
I should start by saying not only is this little bag a nice piece of kit, but Dakine’s warranty is one of the best in the biz. This is actually my second hotlaps, the first started developing a tear where the Velcro begins. I told them about it and they replaced it even though it was two years old. It’s inexpensive for what it is. I’m able to carry a tube, tire levers, multi tool, c02 cartridge, cartridge head, spare link, and a small pump. Thing is amazing. After trying many places to attach it, I settled inside the front triangle. I liked it on my seat but it would rub on deep compressions when my seat was down. The noise it made had me thinking my frame was groaning under my weight. Anyway get this. Dakine is a great brand, their snowboard gear and surf bags are equally as good.
It works
It also doesn't work. It's a little awkward getting it attached to the underside of the seat and the fit is odd on th top tube honestly. It is very filled out with a 29" tube in it and two cartridges. I wish the side elastic pockets were actually a pocket with a bottom that was sewn shut. Pics show carrying items in them but I'm pretty sure stuff would fall out while riding any trail with amounts of jolting jarring and bumps, or jumps. It does save me space in the hip pack so I will definitely use it.
So far so good
Didn't move after a decent tumble, it gets my vote
My hot laps gripper is amazing
My hot laps gripper is small enough to not notice while riding and big enough to hold everything I need to, 10/10
Great tool Pouch
Very nice to keep some tools co2 cartridges and other extra things. It gives the flexibility to attaching it to the saddle down tube and other places.
Nice and Tight
This is a great little tool holder that fits under the seat for me, on both of my bikes
Useless to me
I don't want to put the sandpaper like surface against my frame and the strap is way too long for seat mounting. Into the junk pile it goes
Perfect everyday carry
Fits great on the frame, doesn't fumble around during a ride. Fits spare tube, tire levers and a tool.
Good product, but can rattle
Good product, but can rattle loose on rough, technical trails

Hi, does this include the inner tube? co2, and all the necessary tools, or is it just the pouch?
I see this product priced between $22.50 and $35, what is the basis for the different pricing?
