If your Dakine bag gets dirty, we recommend hand washing with mild soap (like Nikwax Tech Wash), cold water and a soft bristle brush. If hand washing is not going to do the trick, use a front loader washing machine. To ensure your backpack doesn't get tangled, place inside a pillowcase or mesh bag before washing. Always use cold water, mild soap and run on a gentle cycle. Never bleach your pack. Hang to dry in a warm but shady place, ensuring both inside and out are dry before storing.

I Love It

I bought a Dakine purse many years ago and just loved the fabric and how well it held up. Therefore when I was looking for a work backpack I bought one from Dakine! The number of pockets offer a ton of options and the water bottle pockets are big enough to hold my wide bottle! I love it. The straps are comfortable and it is great for my back!

Pouch too small

My Dakine pack is over 20 years old and the zippers stick and the water bottle pouches are sacked I sent an email to Dakine asking if they still made the pack with the hidden compartment in the back. They replied that they did and I ordered it. I am very disappointed in the size of the hidden compartment, it is way too small to hold my passport and money. I ordered 2 and I am returning one. I am very disappointed in the product.

Love this so much

This is an upgrade from my last campus that I used until it fell apart. The laptop portion is perfect. I use it mostly for work, but can't wait to get the chance to travel with it

Great bag!

Simple, durable and all the right pockets. I have always used Dakine bags in the backcountry so I figured I would try a campus bag for my daily work bag. Glad I did. Always a good choice to go with Dakine bags for whatever your needs.

Dakine: all day, everyday

After blowing through three backpacks in one year with others, I'm so pleased with the recommendation to purchase Dakine we received. These bags are DURABLE. My kid has historically destroyed his roller bags in weeks but his two year old (southern California sun) Dakine bag is still kicking as great as day 1, save the sun fade. Last years? Also still kicking, seriously?! Yes, sun will fade colors, but these bags have not failed in terms of physical structure aside from the prior designs mesh water bottle pockets. Zippers/straps/general structural - still sound rolling into years two and three respectively. These bags outlast pre-teens for more than one school year and that alone makes them winners my book. Very easy decision to purchase this model based on our past Dakine experience.

Another great backpack!

This is my second Dakine backpack and I could not be happier. It good everything I need and the straps are comfortable and supportive.

Not as good as prior purchase

The backpack was smaller than the one I’ve purchased previously(in 2021). Also, this backpack is not as water resistant as the one purchased previously, my son’s notebooks get some water damage.

Great bag

this bag has 3 access points to the main area, which gives you plenty of ways to divide and easily access what's needed in the large area of bag. Has a few other smaller pockets for keys/shades/etc for essentials and easier access. Great bag, durable material and zippers.

I’m 5’1”. Will this backpack be bulky for my small frame?

Hi Isa, This is something that unfortunately, we are unable to confirm... However, this bag's dimensions are 20.5 x 13 x 7.5", which I would make sure to factor in, specifically the length & width of the bag as this will give you a good idea how low it will sit on your back (once you've adjusted shoulder straps to your liking) and then the width will actually give you more of an idea on if the bag will appear "bulky" on you. Will this hold a 32oz water bottle securely so it doesn't fall out when bending over?

A 32oz water bottle (depending on its shape) may be slightly too large for the external water bottle pocket. I'd recommend using a smaller volume bottle.
