Not waterproof, not worth the price tag
Bought these at lunchtime one day whilst I was on the mountain because it was a cold snowy day, and my old gloves were just a cheap padded pair.
After one hour I could see a little bit of a color change in the leather around the seams. Another hour later the entire glove that was exposed from my jacket cuff down had changed color because the leather was soaking up moisture. If you look in the picture you can see that from the wrists where the leather is dry it's a lighter shade of yellow.
Took a break around then and when I put the gloves back on the water had soaked all the way through to the inside. Took over 24 hours to dry out, and that was with me stuffing the gloves with paper to dry them out.
I emailed Dakine but never got a reply back.
No glove is truly waterproof, but it sucked to pay $160 for these when other brands sell similar leather gloves for half the price. Really wish I'd put up with my old gloves for one more afternoon and gone to a store with more choice.
