CONSCIOUS MATERIAL CHOICES
Our goal is to create trusted products that push the boundaries of technical performance, that are crafted with care with the good of people and the planet in mind.
1. Do no harm. Committed to producing products free from restricted substances.
As of January 1, 2025, Dakine is operating in compliance with California’s Assembly Bill 1817, which prohibits the manufacture, distribution, and sale of new textile articles containing intentionally added PFAS.
2. Reduce our negative impact to preserve our world.
Leverage recycled (repurposed), recyclable, and/or preferred materials without sacrificing product integrity or durability.
Preferred materials: A fiber or raw material that delivers consistently reduced impacts and increased benefits for climate, nature, and people against the conventional equivalent, through a holistic approach to transforming production systems – Textile Exchange.
3. Create durable products that stay in action and out of landfills.
MAKE PRODUCT AND PLANET RIGHT DECISIONS WITH PACKAGING
Reduce waste, increase impact, do the right thing.
1. Reduce size, waste, single-use plastics. If it doesn’t add value
