One size does NOT fit all

I wish you would make 2 sizes because the One-Size is too big. There's only so much I can tighten the velcro tab without my head feeling like it's in a clamp. Please, make 2 sizes. One size does NOT fit all.

Clasp broke within several uses and warranty was denied

The clasp broke after only a few uses. Clasps break, I understand that! The issue for the low rating is Dakine Warranty Policy. Though it states ONE YEAR on hats Dakine denied the warranty despite a valid receipt within one year. They stated that the warranty is based on manufacturer date and NOT purchase date. They claimed that the new hat I bought was 3 years old so the warranty had expired before the hat was even shipped. And beware that aged product is still being shipped to unsuspecting customers! How does a consumer know when a product is made? All we know is when we buy it., right? When I threatened to dispute the credit card charge they offered a 30% discount. Eventually they gave me a new hat but wanted me to pay $11 more to ship it. Just be aware of what you are purchasing and the actual warranty. Do not trust their policy as written.

Cute but the brim is too small

I have to return this hat and keep the surf trucker hat because the brim is too small to shade my nose.

Stays in place

I bought for my surf trip down to Mexico and it worked really well. I was surfing small waves, 5-6 feet, and it was not annoying at all. Would recommend it if you are going surfing to a warm place. Downside is that it does not protect the back of your neck.

Short Brim Surf Cap

Big brims are hard to see under ,I’m always flipping them up to see . this one’s a perfect size to give some shade without getting in the way .
