You can wear these all day long when you ride. They are great pads!

Great pad

Fit is great. Breath well, and dont pinch or restrict movement. Nice pad for trail riding. Strap helps with keeping top from sliding.

I have worn these forever and just got an upgrade to the newer version. It’s all what I need and more!

Bought the size large, fit

Bought the size large, fit perfect great mobility. Fairly breathable for living in Arizona.

Super comfortable

I use these on my electric skateboard and they greatly improve my confidence. Havent tested their protection yet but theyre definitely comfortable enough to justifywearing them just in case. No problems with them twisting or slipping at all. They do seem to run a little small, in my opinion.

Great fitting protective pads, but fall apart under normal use.

I love these pads, they offer great protection minus the bulk and stayed in place when I first wore them. The velcro at the top is key as it allows you to dial in your fit and allows uninhibited riding while keeping your knees protected. I got these at the end of last season and have maybe 15 ride in with them...and the small strap loops that keep the velcro strap in place have fallen apart. They must have been barely sewn on, because I've never had a crash or anything that would cause ripping...normal use made the stitching fall apart and now the loops are disconnected. It's an issue because those loops kept the top velcro strap in place-now that they have come undone, the velcro strap doesn't stay put and causes the top of the pad to slip down, and thus the padded part no longer covers my knees. I expected more out of these pads as they are on the higher end of the price spectrum and mine are still relatively new. I've filed a warranty claim so we'll see how Dakine responds.

Knee pads

Overall I really like the knee pads. I have big legs and the XL is a little tight on me, definitely measure your legs before buying and if you are in between sizes size up. Little warm when riding but the protection feels great. I would recommend and would buy again.

Excellent protection and fit

I love the fit and coverage of these pads. The protection is top notch and punches above the pads’ weight. Last night I took a high speed sliding spill into a pile of embedded, pointy rocks, and the fabric didn’t even tear; my unprotected elbow, on the other hand, looks like hamburger. While these are touted as trail pads, I have confidence that they protect riders well enough for most aggressive riding.
